Today, the family legacy continues to wow audiences by delivering everything from traditional country to today’s #1 hits and lots of side-splitting comedy. Now, the 2nd & 3rd generations of the Mabe family carry on the family tradition of performing an all new show each year. Both longtime Baldknobbers’ fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers’ family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation. In 2011, the Baldknobbers original costumes, instruments and artifacts were added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. « less

The Baldknobbers Family show was excellent, the music, the comedy, and everything rolled into one. They did a musical salute to the troops and had each of the veterans stand up for their military division. They also let the veterans in for free to the show, if they could prove they were honorably discharged. My uncle has been out for... More

We took our 3 teenage boys to see the Baldnobber show! My husband had seen the show when he was a kid thinks of it as "classic Branson." All five of us had a good time! The boys didn't love the country music, but they enjoyed all the comedy and liked all of the unique instruments that were played. Its... More

I've been traveling to Branson for years. But I've never seen Branson's 1st show until this trip. It's a great show and I know why it's been around for over 50 years. The must is great, the jokes are hilarious and completely kid friendly. This really is a must see show.

The show starts with a warm up for 30 minutes, a short break and then the actual show. The warm up was good and the show was excellent. A mixture of music and comedy lend itself to a fast and fun evening. There is an intermission after about an hour to an hour 10 and then the rest of the... More

My wife and I saw this show as part of a the entertainment package arranged for us through a Road Scholar Golf Program we attended in Branson for a week. We enjoyed the singers, musicians, and comedy throughout the show. We only saw two shows during the week: this one and the Grand Country Jubilee and this by far was... More

I have seen the original Baldknobbers 30 or so years ago. Twice. Its over! The best part was the pre show and the comedy. The big blonde woman was loud and terrible. The little brunette was loud and shrill. Patty Mabe was good and beautiful , but didnt solo much. The men could barely do a mediocre job of singing... More

You start off with a preshow of a comedian that was quite good. The show has a good variety of music with comedy mixed in; very enjoyable time and would see it again
