My 5 year old, at the time, was invited to a birthday party here and we were impressed. Have gone back many times. Once was with her entire 1st grade class. If fact, she asked if she could have her birthday party there this year (she will be turning 7). I also have a 8 year old and a 2...

The museum has something for kids of all ages. My eight year old had a ball with his two year old god-brother (as you can see the age gap). As for me, the parent, i can become a little nerve racking because the kids can easily get out of sight with all the nooks ans crannies on the second level....

We became a member of the MS Children's museum after attending a birthday party there. We were so impressed, that we actually just celebrated my son's 3rd birthday there. You have to be a member to have a party. It is only $80 per year for a family of 3. Not bad at all. It is great for rainy days....

The kids love it. But it could be so much more. I think the folks who run the museum should visit some of the museums that hit it out of the park like the ones in Birmingham and Memphis.

If you get a family pass, be sure to take advantage of the total number of adult passes you get. The extra one(s) are great for grandparents, if they would ever take the kids.
My kids at varying ages really enjoyed the activities here. However, at times...it could have been cleaner. But I guess that comes with a hands-on museum.
