The people were very friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful. We learned alot about Tennessee Williams that we didn't know. They even have a small book store.

Columbus is our current home. Great little town to spend the day in, the Welcome Center is free and a nice place to learn about the local area.

The welcome center is housed in Tennessee Williams old home so is quite interesting. The house exterior is very colorful and inside loads of information on Tennessee Williams including photos and furnishings. You will also find plenty of information on the area.

We felt very welcomed there and learn something about Tennessee Williams. We try go to the Pilgrimage every year and see historic houses or take a part in other attractions, and we always visit the Welcome Center there and have very good experience with wonderful people running it. Thank you for that!

What a treat to see where Tennessee Williams spent the beginning of his life. There is a great tribute to his life and work upstairs and you can see the room where Williams' mother went into labor with one of the greatest geniuses in American History.

Plan to spend an hour or so looking at the house and its contents. The staff person hung with us during our enjoyable tour. She also gave good advice on seeing the town, its old architecture, and the river walk.
