I enjoy all the coasters, and there is quite a selection of wood & Steel ; both gravity driven and powered. A favorite is very short but intense, using magnets like a rail gun to propel you up 6 stories in a 2-3 seconds. More

It was fun to go with kids on a hot day. Wear sun block and enjoy the rides. I love the chocolate covered apples and candy apples. Best if you avoid the days the school trips are scheduled. Many schools do an end of the year celebration here with discounted tickets. More

A great place for the kids! Most of the rides are fun for adults too! I recommend going on a nice weekday to avoid the lines and crowds. Valleyfair has a ton of really great rollercoasters and other thrill rides, and as long as you aren't there on a weekend, the lines are usually pretty bearable. However; beer, food, and other recreation is a little bit pricey. I think they could use just a little bit less chlorine in their pools, too. More
