This cathedral is beautiful. Every little detail of the inside and outside are stunning. This is a must see if in the St. Paul or Minneapolis areas, even for the non-religious. More

This is a spectacular cathedral. My sons were both confirmed here. My eldest son graduated from Hill-Murray High School here. It is where I go to pray and light candles when I need the peace and beauty of a true Catholic refuge. I love this cathedral and everything it means to my family. More

The outside is incredible to look at but the inside is EVEN MORE SO! It sits on the highest point of land in the city which only helps it stand out even more, besides being a very large church to begin with. I only dipped inside for approximately 15 minutes but was just amazed at the beauty, craftsmanship and enormity... More

A great place to get an overview of both the government and downtown. Great neighborhood and just down the street from the Hill House. Continue down that street and visit the Overlook Park. More

The location for the World Championship of Crashed Ice featured St. Paul's Cathedral, and it really made it a great location! The area surrounding the cathedral is beautiful with lots of elevation change, all the way down to the river. The cathedral it self has lots of history and looks so imposing on the hill. It's my favorite church in... More

Great Church, such an wonder to look at and the view from ontop of the hill is a commanding look of both Saint Paul, and the mighty Mississippi River in the background. I really enjoy going here. More

Date of visit: Sat 3/31/12. A walk through the Cathedral is a good pairing with a walk or drive down Summit Ave, since they are adjacent to each other. Even if you aren’t Catholic (which I’m not), you are likely to find visual appreciation for the architecture and art of this Cathedral. If you’re into understanding the symbolism elements, be...
