Lots and lots of food options at Midtown Global Market, many of which are "best of..." winners in the local press, owners are often working right behind the counter, good to support local businesses, and everything I've eaten there has been wonderful. More

I like to visit local markets in each city. Midtown Global Market is one of the markets to see in Minneapolis. It is not huge or overwhelming and it reveals the diversity of the Twin Cities. The feast of colors will help to cure any winter blues. BARGAINS!! I saw women's scarves from Asia that sell for $65 in San... More

I went there with a friend and we were expecting to find a lot of different ethnic shops, etc. When there are ethnic shops that were interesting enough, the vast majority of the "market" is taken up by restaurants... Not really what we were hoping for... More

I love this place! it does not matter what kind of mood you or your friends/partner are in-each of you can find whatever you want here! I love that support local business and cultural diversity-they also offer a great free tour that teaches you all about the market and it's mission. Manny's tortas are my favorite, but check out each... More

There were so many great places to eat, I went for the African Restraunt and had a camel burger. It was ok the sauce was a little spicy for me, I also tried the goat, Amazing!!! My daughter had the chinesse and my husband had the Mexican. There were so many more to choose from. There was plenty of great... More

My husband and I brought our 4 and 6 year old daughters here after dinner one Friday night in July. We had a blast! There was live music, and the dance floor was packed with little kids movin' to the music. We loved looking at the trinkets and interesting food from all over the world. Yes, it is small. Each... When we thought 'global market', we figured there would be more options for stores to buy from. To our dismay, the majority of vendors here sell food and drink. They're interesting options, sure, but as far as products, knick knacks, or gifts go, vendors were pretty scarce. If you're hungry for something a little different, this would be a good... More

My husband and I stayed across the street at the Sheraton Midtown Hotel, so we had a couple trips over to the Market. We really enjoyed looking at all the different food vendors and shops. They have stuff from all over the world- Africa, Jamacia, Sweden, Mexico, India... We enjoyed some great Mexican food that reminded me of being back... More

Very little to see. Go to Grand Avenue in St. Paul and shop at 10,000 villages instead if you want to shop for global products. More

Vendors offering goods from around the world. Food court ambience with a sampling of cuisines for around the world. A good place to stop by if the weather is not so hot. Not a must see. More
