Less crowded than the other lakes in the area but equally scenic and great path around the lake for biking and walking. More

Great for walk, bike ride or run. Path keeps you well away from cars at most points. Interesting architecture in the many differing styles of houses. More

Take your kayak or rent a canoe and paddle around Lake of the Isles and you might sneak up on a green heron or some turtles sunning on a log. Definitely a must for nature lovers! More

This is a beautiful lake to walk around. It is the biggest of "The Lakes." it is the most quiet as well. The homes are beautiful to look at. I have been around this lake more times than I could ever count, and I never grow tired of it, or the houses. It is lovely spot to walk/run alone, with... More

We had a beautiful afternoon to wander in Minneapolis and ended up at Lake of the Isles. Walking seemed to be the thing to do, so we did . . . about 3 miles from our car, around the lake and back. Sunny and 60's in March in Minnesota - can't beat that! Nice paved path with bikes and pedestrians... More

Beautiful homes in a variety of architectural styles ring this pretty lake which also has Kenwood park adjacent. Not to be missed whether walking, biking or driving... along with the rest of the Chain of Lakes! More

This is one of the quietest chain of lakes in Minneapolis. It is peaceful and doesn't have the "look at me" type of people here. People come here to be part of the environment. It is very serene during the week. More
