Gorgeous campus, great sports programs & events, vast array of campus eateries - and DINKYTOWN. Almost every campus has a street like this and UWMs is truly fun. My son went to college here, so I have a soft spot in my heart for this campus.

Minnesota has a typically lovely college campus feel but coupled with views of downtown Minneapolis and all that a major city can offer. When the light rail link is finished, it will be seamlessly linked to downtown and further south. Education-wise, the U of M provides a challenging course load but makes great efforts to assist students along the way....

A great place to see the local landscape / geography. The East Bank (campus - older- is seperated from Th East Bank campus by the Mighty Mississippi. The West Bank is new, modern and contempory. Where the 60's 'Hippies" and anti-war movement planted roots. Neighborhood is still very Boheimian, expcet fo modern university buildings. Home of vast and vaired ethnic...

When our son transferred to the U of MN, we were a bit afraid that he would not like the large size of the campus nor the large classes. He LOVES it! The professors are great (our son is a sophomore) and the TA's seem quite capable. Go Gophers!
Great Big Ten atmosphere. My son has gotten a great education with tons of opportunities he wouldn't get in a smaller community.
The U of MN, Twin Cities is a fantastic campus that features a wonderful experience, environment and convenience.
I am a U of M alum, so I may be slightly biased, but I think the U is a world class university. The campus(es) - East bank, West Bank, St. Paul - have a diverse collection of architecture and landscapes. My favorite part of campus is definitely the East Bank. The student body includes people from all over the...

If you just like some nice architecture, stop into some of the buildings on the mall just to see some of the design. Walker Library ceiling is amazing! And it's a free walk!
The men's and women's rinks put many professional facilities to shame. Went to a women's game, great experience. Easy to get to by bus from downtown
So many great things to say about the university. You feel like you're going to school in a small city - but also have the option to go downtown! The dinkytown area is great (by the loring pasta bar, mesa pizza etc) This is the best are to live...
