Based on my friends, I was more excited to see peak fall in traverse city. After we are heading towards traverse city we see beauty of fall from dearborn towards traverse city highways. Bik paths to downtown, small shops and restaurants, this park has it all. A quick trip over the bridge and you are on the beach. The park is busy but that's because people keep coming back.

If you are lucky to get a space in the back of the park it's very beautiful and quiet. Close to bike path. TART runs for miles and miles. If you like the beach camp close to the front. But then you have the road noise.
There is a "Discovery" section where you can touch some of the exhibits. The sound wall is a must. This was designed for children, but adults will enjoy it too. Only $6.

Good park in convenient location if you don't mind the US131 noise from the traffic going past. We just walked on the beach and enjoyed the view. It could get cleaned up a little more.

We like several things about this park: 1) TART trail access- the trail is very convenient and you can ride it all the way to town and even further to Suttons Bay if you choose. Another nice benefit is that there are rear entrances to many amenities near...

We have never been to a TC park before. This was a great experience and for the first time signed up for passes to the TC parks. We are older now and now wished we had come here with our children when they were younger. TC beaches are so beautiful.
