Although it was the furthest northern winery in Old Mission it was worth it. Great view from the bar as the staff were very attentive and knowledgable. Mike was very good in explaining all about the wines as well as handling large groups as they walked in. We decided to stay around by having the cheese and cracker tray for... More

Our daughter recommended we try this winery on our recent visit to Old Mission Peninsula. They only had 5 wines to try but all were excellent. The wines are pricey but when you consider that they grow all the grapes for the wines you get what you pay for. The views from the tasting room are outstanding.

We visited 2 Lads as the first of several wineries on a delightful Saturday around the Mission Peninsula. To be sure: the atmosphere and wine are really terrific, and the staff are friendly and kind. However, there exists a certain arrogance for two reasons: 1. The wine is very expensive, particularly compared to other wineries in the area. Again, the... More

Open and architectually appealing tasting room. Friendly, fun and knowledgeable staff. GREAT wines. This place is the full package. They are SO nice here. If I could I would camp out and visit them daily. The girl who waited on us made us feel like celebrities. It was really, really memorably. When in TC this place is a MUST stop.

For years, I looked doubtfully at friends who suggested wine tasting in Michigan. 2 Lads was among the wineries that changed my mind. They are doing something very special here, friends. I could not believe their pinot noir was Michigan grown--it was comparable to better pinots I've had from Oregon and California. And don't you dare argue this until you've... More

This winery has one of the best views that you will find on the Old MIssion Peninsula. The tasting room was designed with a stunning backdrop. The wines are excellent and the experience is first class. I have to admit, I only tried the white wines since Michigan does white wines best. The staff was friendly too.

Loved the view from their tasting room. They also make the wine in the building so it was fun to see how it was made. They also charge for their tasting and amount you taste is barely enough to give you an idea if you like the wine but we did get a bottle or two. Definetly worth a stop.

The staff here was very informative and engaging and the view from the modern tasting room was outstanding. The wines were good, but limited as they seem to have sold out of a few earlier in the season (which is a good sign I would say). Should be on your to visit list if you are in the area.
