This building is so cool with so much history. Many shops (although expensive) are fun for window shopping. Many private offices also, but the architecture of the building is fabulous! Very cool! More

We spent a little time at the village on a Friday afternoon. Several of the stores were closed. We did appreciate the unique shops - definitely a step above your typical plain vanilla mall - but it was a little confusing to get around. More

...for two casual up north weekenders that is. I hate to say it, but I was disappointed that so many of the stores sold products at insanely high prices. Without naming names, how can anyone think their business is going to survive by selling framed brightly painted words (cliche phrases, actually) for $450? Another place sold eclectic home goods and... More

Not much there - Left Foot Charleys was AWESOME, and they have a cheesecake shop and a few art galleries, odds and ends - also a Black Star Farms tasting room (but they have 2 others in the area, so we didn't go to that particular one) YES, I would reccommend going just for Left Foot Charleys, their "Cinnamon Girl"... It is a neat location with an interesting history. We had a hard time finding our way around, at the time not too much open, and what was open was very pricey. Have to say, prefer downtown TC and Elk Rapids Village for our tastes. Like I said, glad we went and maybe stop in again in the future to... More

Visit Pleasanton Bakery, get a fresh loaf of Manna Seed, then go grab some Raclette from Black Star Farms and have yourself an amazing pic-nic! Maybe a hard cider from Left Foot Charley's.. Yes, do that. More

There are a couple noteworthy shops, but we've been a few times and have received lukewarm service at best each time. They have some neat ideas and effective marketing, so maybe just step it up in the service department. Just don't love the particular mix of shops available. More
