“A nice view of Lake Michigan”

My friend and I took a walk out to the lighthouse while in South Haven. You cannot enter the lighthouse but it does provide a nice view of Lake Michigan and the surrounding beaches. It's also just a short stroll from downtown South Haven. A pleasant scenic point of the area. More

We love visiting. Every year our family comes to the Carriage House Harbor Inn and stay and go see all the lighthouses and walk the beach. More

There are 2 lighthouses that mark the Black River where it enters Lake Michigan. They're more like markers than actual lighthouses. But the original has alot of history to it. You can walk out to them, nice views More

My second favorite lighthouse walk after Grand Haven is the walk from downtown South Haven out to the lighthouse. Beautiful, relaxing stroll, taking in quaint downtown, bobbing yachts, picturesque cottages, and of course the magnificent Lake Michigan. More
