We were very disappointed that the tower of the Point Iroquois Light Station was closed due to renovations, but were still excited to see the lighthouse up close. It was very nice with beautiful grounds. We did not get to go up into the top as they were refurbishing it which was a good thing and understand. The museum was open and walked through it. If you are in the Whitefish Bay area of Lake Superior, plan on making a stop at this Lighthouse. You can climb the tower, walk the trails, and see the history exhibit in the living quarters. Well worth the trip. More
