We were very disappointed that the tower of the Point Iroquois Light Station was closed due to renovations, but were still excited to see the lighthouse up close. The drive to the lighthouse is easy and the parking lot is plentiful. There are clean bathrooms on the grounds, and a nice little trail down to Lake Superior, with beautiful views... More

This place is not well-known so there aren't many crowds. It's a lovely lighthouse with very nice docents. This lighthouse was featured in a song called The Scottish Hero by a folk musician named Lee Murdock. This is why we visited the lighthouse. If you have the song, the visit is much more meaningful. It is a great view of... More

Nice little gift shop and some really nice items on display. Do give a donation for the upkeep. It's a beautiful place. We... More

The lighthouse climb is up a steep sprial staircase- the teenage girls found going down to be more scary than going up. good view of... More

If you are in the Whitefish Bay area of Lake Superior, plan on making a stop at this Lighthouse. You can climb the tower, walk the trails, and see the history exhibit in the living quarters. Well worth the trip. More
