This is a place to visit every season, just to enjoy the differences, to enjoy the backdunes forest, and then to come out at the top of the dunes when you take the north trail! You can go to the beach this way, and some people do, but the real treasure is the hiking. Some hills and varied terrain, but not too athletic. It can get busy on the weekends so the best time is during the week. Great light for photos. More

Takes about 10 min to walk there ...and you ahve to carry all your belongings along. But what you;ll find is mile sof "almost" undiscovered sand beach. great for a secluded beach, does not work well f families if you have to carry along umbrellas, chairs, snack etc - and NO bathrooms More
