Went with a friend and two kids. I thought it was pretty nice for a small museum, but I really like history. Worth your stop. Kids may not enjoy it much though.
We were recently vacationing in St. Ignace, MI and found this gem of a museum highlighting the Ojibwa culture. This is a must see when in the area. All items sold in the museum shop are hand made by Native Americans and the museum is very interesting.

A must for anyone interested in Native American and history. The staff is very friendly and the local crafts are amazing! The museum is fun for all ages and very educational. Also a great stop for school groups to learn about the Ojibwa culture and history.
Wonderful museum and very educational. Staff was very helpful and the displays were excellent! The outdoor grounds were beautiful.
Not as big as I was hoping, but all in all a nice place. Nice location it was very easy to find, right across from the docks.
Great place to visit. They only ask for donations too keep the museum running. Very informational. We would definately stop here again.
This was a very nice small museum but had a lot of information! We Home school and used this visit as part of a small field trip. They have a short video to watch, displays, and a gift shop with items from the local area.
I would highly recommend this small museum. Great information and artifacts on the local native history and culture. The girl at the front was very helpful. The admission is free however we made a donation. The items for sale are genuine native crafts which is really great.
