We really enjoyed this clean, small zoo. It is excellent for families with small children. Will return when in the area. More

This zoo is great and had much more to it than we expected. You enter through the gift shop which has tons of awesome stuff and a huge selection of animal figurines. There was a baby reindeer that greeted us just inside the zoo! Lots of birds just run around free. The peacocks were showing off. It was great to... More

LOVE this place, have been going here for years! Our eight year old and five year old love being able to see, touch and interact with everything from deer to the resident domestic cat. Well worth the price when you figure in the base cost of what it must take to feed and house all these animals!! More

We were pleasantly surprised when we visited the Garlyn Zoo with our 2 year old twins. This is a great opportunity to see animals closer than you can at the large zoos. The path is a natural mulch or woodchip and is completely shaded. We felt comfortable letting the kids out of the stroller to walk with us. We were... More

There were more animals then I expected here. What was really neat is that they have a chickens, and peacocks freely roaming around. The peacocks here just beautiful. Other animals they had were bears, bobcats, emu's, llamas, alpacas, cougars, alligators and much more. The otter's naturally put on a show for you too. More

The Garlyn Zoo was a very cute zoo. While there wasn't a ton of different animals, the zoo is setup in a beautiful forest setting. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals out of the ice cream cones that can be purchased in the gift shop. No frills here, only porta potties for bathrooms and baby wipes for hand washing,... Most of the animals are rescues. Nice little zoo for families. You can feed some of the animals such as goats and deer. Pleasant wooded area, lots of shade and rest stops. Buy food for the critters in the gift shop. A nice break on your road trip. Admissions and gift shop proceeds support the animals. Admissions: Adults.......................................$8.00 Children 3... More
