On his suggestion the entrance to the cave has been enlarged, making it this way accessible to the entire world. The cave has two entrances: the smaller one artificially widened and deepened so that the boat could sail through, and the wider one, located at the southern part of the cave – the underwater passage, through which the magical game of the light and water is performed…Depending on the season, the ideal moment to visit the cave is between 9 and 13 o’clock in the morning. « less

We took a very slow taxiboat from Komiza, the route takes more than an hour to arrive at the Bisevo Island. By there you can get to the Blue Cave with a little boat: it's amazing inside the cave, but the ride is very quick and no information were given by the guide...Later we were taken to Porat, a very... At 9 am I took a boat tour to the Blue Cave. At 10 am the guide said that the cave was closed and we won’t be able to visit it. Then the boat went to the Green cave and the Komiza town en Vis island which is quite boring. The day before I was told in the tourist office... More

This is a really beautiful cave in Bisevo which is only accessible by a small rowing boat. The floor of the cave is flooded with sunlight once a day (in sunny weather of course!) and lights up the whole cave. Sadly, the entrance is organised chaos, with private boat owners all trying to get in at the same time as... More
