The lake is situated in Sagarmatha national park of Khumjung vdc. Its very clean and peace of nature. The lakes is worship as a god by the community, mainly in Janaipurnima. The lake is frozen in winter season. Besides the lake their are many lodge are build to fulfill the visitors need and desires. More

Not everyone goes to Gokyo, but after or before Base Camp, it's worth to continue the trekking and visit these incredible lakes in the middle of the Himalayas. I saw them frozen and it was fantastic. You can see other animals that you don't see in Base Camp trek, and the way to Gokyo is amazing. Do it. More
