I am glad that I have chose this route. It is the best view along the trek. Nothing beats the great view despite the early morning start without breakfast (which was a wrong decision). Making it to Gokyo is more fulfilling than reaching EBC in my personal opinion! More

I have only good things to say about All Nepal Himalayan Adventure Treks. From the start Ram and his team looked after us excellently. Nothing was too much trouble and the service we received from start to end was without fault. The trek was organized and run perfectly and as a very reasonable price. Our Guide Manbahadur likewise did an... More

We did Everest Gokyo Lake with Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar trekking in the late November 2011. It Was really great time on Himalaya!!! We were 12 members in our group and it was operated by Global Holidays Adventure. This young leading Adventure Company is very professional and provided us very good service during our 17 days trekking. The... More

I have recently arrived back from a trek to Gokyo Peak (5380m). The trip was apsolutly amazing and everyday you would see something new that took your breath away: may that be the wildlife, the valleys or the great mountains all around you. The trip was one that will live long in the memory and i will treasure both photos... More

My boyfriend and I trekked to Gokyo last spring. It was awesome. The views,..OMG! It was quite an easy trekking (4-5 hours trekking/day). However we were supposed to do the ChoLa Pass to get to the Everest base camp but I got sick (AMS) after reaching Gokyo Ri's summit so we had to go down... But it was fine. We... More

Not everyone goes to Gokyo, but after or before Base Camp, it's worth to continue the trekking and visit these incredible lakes in the middle of the Himalayas. I saw them frozen and it was fantastic. You can see other animals that you don't see in Base Camp trek, and the way to Gokyo is amazing. Do it. More
