Overall, I like Boyne Highlands. It has more advanced slopes (the Tournament area is my favorite - lightly skied in comparison to Olympic and in my opinion, better snow / moguls, etc), but is without a doubt a big resort. We had an excellent time as a group here. There were 10 skiers of all levels. The bunny slope with the magic carpet was great for us beginners while our experienced skiers were challenged with the higher levels slopes. A bit crowded to get lunch there though.
