They have what looks to be some great skiing at this resort but the Golf was amazing. We had a great and affordable golf package that included Unlimited Golf, Lodging, Breakfast and Dinners. It was early May so we assumed the courses would be in early spring condition. Much to our delite the courses were in amazing condition, looking more... More

The Boyne Highlands offers some of the best seasonal recreational activities in northern Michigan ... skiing resort in winter and golf resort in summer ... with ancillary activities onsite like zip line, fishing, and restaurant/bars. Special events that are wonderful like the BrewSki and St. Patrick's Day celebrations in March. Excellent live bands at The Zoo Bar ... you just... More

We love Boyne Highlands and have been going there annually for nearly 20 years. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. The ski instructors work hard to teach and be supportive. A wide variety of runs -- 55 in all -- from very easy to Double Diamonds can be found here. My favorite run is Stephen's Pass; it is a... More

My wife and I flew from Washington, DC, for the excuse to ski and drink beer. BEER SELECTION: The beer selection was incredible. The resort lined up brewers from Samuel Adams to the Montana Brewers who make Moose Drool. With plenty of local breweries, each of the 3 dozen vendors brought 3-4 beers on average. We bought the package that... More

Sunny skies and 55 degrees out with plenty of snow. Nothing beats skiing in a t-shirt. Went on Sunday after their brew fest and it didn't appeat that all the slopes had been groomed. But skiing was still good. More

Boyne Highlands is a BIG ski area for Michigan, but smaller than what I've skied in New Jersey, and not comparable to Vermont or Colorado or anywhere else out west. We went because it was close, because it's a lousy winter everywhere but they have built up a good base, and because the lift tickets are much less expensive, not... More

Overall, I like Boyne Highlands. It has more advanced slopes (the Tournament area is my favorite - lightly skied in comparison to Olympic and in my opinion, better snow / moguls, etc), but is without a doubt a big resort. The crowds at Boyne can become a distraction, the prices are high and the resort is definitely geared towards downstate... More

We had an excellent time as a group here. There were 10 skiers of all levels. The bunny slope with the magic carpet was great for us beginners while our experienced skiers were challenged with the higher levels slopes. A bit crowded to get lunch there though. So our break for lunch went a bit longer than anyone thought. There... More

My husband and I snow-shoed for the first time. Very nice employees in the rental facility. Beautiful setting. Trails nicely marked. Will be back. More
