Take the west trail north through Eagle Harbor. It is absolutely beautiful. There are many places to stop and see along Lake Superior. Drive up on Brockway Mountain and take a look at the entire area. You can even see Lake of the Clouds.

this one is a bit confusing, the trail to copper harbor - I assume is the snowmobile/atv trail. We love taking our side by side for rides the the harbor especially in the fall, but the picture shows Hunters point which is a nature trail - also very beautiful and very well worth seeing

We are not seasoned snowmobilers, so this was a bit too much for us. It was a loooooooong ride from Houghton to Copper Creek when you're not going 70 mph like everyone else! But the trail was very well groomed, well-marked and had some really beautiful areas. We definitely got our fill of snowbmobiling for awhile! This is where all...

Take a nice slow ride to Copper Harbor. Take a picnic lunch or stop at any of the restaurants along the way. Wet your feet in Lake Superior and relax.
