Between the regular exhibits, the carrousel, changing exhibits, and planetarium, there is something for everyone. Just big enough to be enjoyable but not so big anyone gets tired. Very kid friendly. More

The Public Museum is a very nice place to spend a few hours. There were some chunks of it I really didn't care for, but the upper level was very neat with all of the old artifacts and animals... etc. Also, they have a planetarium. More

Along with the venue for that uniquely Grand Rapids creation of ART PRIZE venue location the rest of the museum will not disappoint. The planners and staffers are to all be congratulated. More

This museum is extremely well done and you should allow 3 to 4 hours for your visit. Some outstanding displays include, Furniture City, Streets of Old Grand Rapids and Stories of the Civil War as it relates to the Michigan Volunteers who defended Washington D C. Since Grand Rapids is well known for it’s furniture making factories, the Furniture City... More

There's lots to look at here. My son loves watching the clock mechanism, escpecially when it's getting ready to chime. There's always enough hands on activities to keep him interested and enough to see that I'm not bored either. I love all of the exhibits with ties to the West Michigan area. More
