Between the regular exhibits, the carrousel, changing exhibits, and planetarium, there is something for everyone. Just big enough to be enjoyable but not so big anyone gets tired. Very kid friendly.

The Public Museum is a very nice place to spend a few hours. There were some chunks of it I really didn't care for, but the upper level was very neat with all of the old artifacts and animals... etc. Also, they have a planetarium.

Very interesting exhibits on the history of GRR and the furniture industry, as well as the immigrants who came, some of Jerry Ford's life here, the labor movement, etc.

There's lots to look at here. My son loves watching the clock mechanism, escpecially when it's getting ready to chime. There's always enough hands on activities to keep him interested and enough to see that I'm not bored either. I love all of the exhibits with ties to the West Michigan area.
