Very family friendly ski resort in Southwest Michigan, very close to Gobles. They also have a tubing hill for young children which is an hourly charge. I also like the lodge which has a friendly staff. More

Nothing around the area is actually too great. Better than some, worse than some. It's fun enough for an afternoon, but sure isn't a place to go out of your way to ski. Being close though has advantages. More

For a small local ski area they do a good job. The lodge is fine and the employees friendly and helpful. The slopes are fun and they do an adequate job of grooming. More

The geography of Michigan simply doesn't allow for much in the way of skiing. By no fault of their own the climate doesn't cooperate either. They do their best to make snow whenever possible but Michigan's perpetual "cold/warm/cold" winters cause the slopes to be icy and chopped. More

It's southern Michigan, you can't expect too much! The quality of the runs depends greatly on the weather—if there's natural snow then the skiing/boarding is decent, if it's all man-made it's like skiing on tiny little ice cubes. More

We went on a Thursday, when the kids had the day off school. Kids 7 and under ski Free, and only pay for the rentals. Thursday is Ladies Day, so lift was $14 and rental was $14. So the four of us skiied for $100, which isn't bad considering we all needed rentals. There was about a 37 inch base,... More

Timber Ridge is typical of many southern Michigan ski areas with relatively short runs. It has a decent progression for beginners to intermediate, and more tubes for snow boarders than most. More
