Unsafe for multi-racial couples. Staff is unprofessional and hostile. This hotel is perfect for Detroiters - for others, stay at the Westin or in the suburbs - you'll be treated with respect and professionally. There's a reason people are moving out of the city. More

Like many Detroiters I have been visiting Greektown for decades. Years ago it was more of an "insider" attraction known to students, city residents and a few suburbanites. Now particularly since the Greektown Casino opened and because of its close proximity to Comerica Park and Ford Field, it's packed every weekend and any evening there's an event. Dining ranges from... More

I was serving on jury duty at nearby Frank Murphy Hall of Justice. An easy walk to Greektown for lunch at a bevy of neat restaurants. Made me regret that the trial ended so quickly. More

Restaurants are good, lots of nice people, enjoy it BUT sometimes it reminds me of the movie, Night of the Living Dead!! The hordes of crackheads and drunks come crawling out of the woodwork and don't want to hear the word no... Even with the police around and on the grounds of the hotels too. Hate to say it but... Always enjoy a trip to Greektown, feel safe in Detroit, always people around, and police nearby. Food is great. More

i like greektown cause of the penny machines , especially the fishbowl2 my favorite game. your comps add up pretty fast and it clean in there. they just need to watch more for people beating on the machines and throwing cigs and ashes on the floor, i think these people should be thrown out, no reason to do that stuff. Casino was very nice and "playable" as well. Left with more money than I walked in with! Stayed a couple hours and slots were nice. Some of my old favorite slots were no longer there though. More

Machines were very tight, and hardly paid at all. We visited on a Monday and would have stayed another night, but just couldnt win anything after many hundreds of dollars played on slots More

We stayed at the Greektown Casino because we wanted a gambling holiday. Mistake #1: the slots at Greektown Casino are tighter than a ... (use our imagination). Mistake #2: the Greektown neighbourhood consists of Munroe Street and one or two other streets. The neighbourhood features a number of (from our experience) bad restaurants and scary looking bars, and nothing else.... More
