Nice drive, great views at various points. The trails off the drive can be fun to walk, but do some research on them or ask before you walk them. My husband and I started down a trail without knowing where it went, and decided to turn back after a while. Turned out it was a mountain bike trail that went...

Don't miss this drive if you're in the Keweenaw. It follows the western edge of the peninsula atop a ridge. There are several pullouts with interpretive panels detailing what you're looking at and gives a short history and or natural resource lesson. Those interested in hiking can also access hiking trails from the drive. There also a small store located...

If you don't think the Midwest has mountains, you need to pay a visit to this very scenic drive. Yes there sure are! The Keweenaw peninsula is a hilly place and the hills get fairly big as you get closer to Copper Harbor. The rocky cliffs and the great views of Lake Superior are well worth the drive up to the lookout.

You can't get a much nicer view of the area than from the top of Brockway mountain. The drive up is really nice too. Really nice when the eagles and hawks are migrating. You can see close to a hundred soaring at one time in the area.

Words can't describe the view and peace up on Brockway Mt. The lookout area is spacious and view is spectacular.

One of the prettiest drives in Michigan. Makes most of the travel guides as a "don't miss". It's true. Take or make the time.

Take your time, as the road is rough and steep in places but the views are well worth it. Especially great when the leaves are changing colors in the fall. Take a picnic lunch along if the weather is agreeable.
