We always take our out-of-town visitors for a drive up the Keweenaw Peninsula and over Brockway Drive. Great overview of the surrounding area, and especially Copper Harbor. Very relaxing, and I've gotten some great fall color pictures from the area.

Brockway isn't an enormous mountain, but the drive is fun and the views are gorgeous! Fall is a great time to go up. This is also a hawk hot-spot when migrations are happening.

The views from the top of the drive are incredible...not to be missed. Watch the sunsets, colors in the fall, passing ships, and views of Copper Harbor. Better take a camera!

Haven for birders, photographers and motorcycle enthusiasts. Great view of Lake Superior to the North and the valley to the South and from a newly built lookout, of Copper Harbor.

The road is a little rough but isn't a problem. I suggest that people use the low gear going down hill and don't ride the brakes. This drive is one we have taken countless times, but it has been many years since we've been there. The road itself needs repair - badly. The view, however, is worth the drive. I've heard they will be closing the gift shop at the top, and the telescopes I remember as a child are now gone. Sad.

We traveled the Brockway Mountain Drive on our 2012 Harley full dresser. The views and sights were spectacular. The only drawback we had with the drive was that the road is terrible. Excellent views of Lake Superior and Lake Medora and fall foliage. The road can be a little rough at times but not horrible.
