We had a wonderful time with our friends. Boys loved the outdoor pool. Variety of skill levels on the hills. Staff kept the lines moving which made for more runs per hour!!! Had the breakfast buffet, good. Hamburgers at the cafe and pizza: all good. Rooms are very rustic /dated but obvious improvements are being made everywhere. Equipment lockers and... More

Even though it was a very busy weekend for the ski resort, they had tons of staff working. Lines for the lifts were long but well organized and they kept them moving as well as they possibly could. Even the cafeteria was packed but well staffed. I don't know how they possibly made so many burgers, fries and hot dogs... More

Big peaks, lots of runs. Expensive. Staff, especially the lift guys, were very nice. The indoor people were pretty harried, we went on a busy weekend. More

Very kid friendly, but no recycling, like at Crystal Mountain. Food choices are slim and lodging spartan (at best) More

Note that we do have a recycling program at Caberfae Peaks. The environment is very important to us as we depend on natural resources to stay in business. We have recently just expanded our recycling program to make it even larger and will continue to add recycling bins throughout the resort. More

Caberfae is good for intermediate skiiers. I recently took a group of beginners, and they had a hard time transitioning from the bunny hill to the slopes with chair lifts. The hills are slightly longer than the ski areas south of it, and fun for skiiers more advanced than the bunny hill. Caberfae has season passes, punch cards, and coupons... More

Apprehensive with record " no snow" but quality of snow and friendliness of staff made for a great experience. "Rustic" accommodations but great value and great skiing. More

The skiing here is good and reasonably priced, but don't spend the night in the lodge. It was REALLY overpriced for the quality of the rooms, even taking into account the location. The positives were the pool & spa and the storage lockers. The negatives were everything else. There are no elevators. There was no hair dryer or phone in... More

Thank you for the positive remarks on our skiing. With respect to the lodge, yes, it is a lodge that was constructed many years ago and it does not have an elevator. However, we continue to improve it every year and will continue to do so this off-season as well. The rooms are modest. However, they are always very clean.... More

Took extended family to Caberfae Peaks for a weekend getaway and snowboard experience. The snow trails were fine and the instructors were great. We had two instructors for our group one for 10 and 11 year old kids and one for 34 and 35 year olds, both semi private. The instructors did a fine job. The equipment we rented was... More

I did not like climbing the stairs to 3rd floor motel, no elevators, my back is still killing me. Room was a pricey for what we got, not even a continetal breakfast, only free coffee in lobby. I will drive the 20 minutes to Cadillac next time we go, this was the first time I took my grandsons there, they... More

The 4 guys in my family go skiing every year. This was our 3rd time back to Caberfae, and we loved it......as usual. We have skiied a LOT of places, and we love this place. There is a lot of different types of skiing you can do. They have a small place for the snowboarders to do tricks, jumps, grinds,... More
