Great for small children and the outside show is fun. it will only take a short time to visit but it's very well set up and hands on.

Went on a rainy day and found a lot to do and see with the kids for a few hours. Nice little aquarium even has sea lions! Donations accepted and worth it!
If you've been to the Aquariums in Boston and Conn. this venue is much smaller but the nature of the space is inviting, interactive and the seal feeding is great for the kids under 10 years old. We went during Spring break and got to tour the facility and watch the seal feeding (11 and 4 daily). My family spent...

Great place to bring the kids for a visit. We got there for the seal feedings. We only needed about 30 minutes, but it's free (donations accepted) and worth the stop if you are in the area.
Another must-do for families staying in or around Falmouth. We rented bicycles in Falmouth & took the Shining Sea Bikeway to Woods Hole & enjoyed this free! aquarium. It's very small but is actually a great size for little, little ones.
We got there at 11am -- the time they feed the 2 seals (11 am & 4 pm). This...

Woods Hole Aquarium is free and a great place to spend an hour or so with your kids. While there is nothing very spectacular, the exhibits are interesting and, best of all, you get to go "behind the scenes" and go into a back area where there are tanks holding fish who are recuperating, etc. Well worth a visit.
This is a small aquarium and parking is tight... BUT... worth the trip..... Hands on touch tanks..... seal shows if you are lucky to arrive when they are occurring. And lots to see behind glass. and it is FREE..... in a neat seaside town...... take a walk to the nearby park and ocean
Having visited myself as a child, and taken our own children there, we took our 6 year old grandchild recently. She loved the fish and other marine life, the touch tank, and the seal display in the outdoor tank. It is a small intimate setting and is free of charge, although voluntary donations are accepted. It is located in a...

Nice place to stop with small ones or to kill a little time. Interesting fish you can't beat the price if you have kids (Free). Convenient walking distance to the Woods Hole Inn.
Great little aquarium! It's free but they accept donations. We spent a good half hour touring the place. We loved the seals outside. There is a touch tank and many tanks to look at marine life. There are some pretty crazy fish in there! Def worth a look, kids loved it. Parking was around the corner, metered.
