Very interesting, great guide. It was interesting watching the squid catch minnows. The HUGE rockfish that hang around outside of the back door feast on the "outdated" squid that get pitched out there. When the Institute closes, those rockfish go over to Cap'n Kidds and eat French Fries. At least they are getting their Omega 3's at the Institute!

A visit to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute has a lot of potential, but the organization hasn't put much money into their visitor center. It could be great considering the Institute's accomplishments. You get a lecture, a few cheesy displays, and a very nice gift shop, but leave feeling as if you'd like to experience more.
