Amazing museum of a quality you would expect in a major city like New York, London, or Paris. It is set in the beautiful hills of the Berkshires. Great art. Also surrounded by lovely walking trails. Worth a visit! There is a fee during the summer months, but it is free in the winter. More

We visited this museum during renovation. Although there wasn't a lot to see, it was a nice museum. Handicapped accessible. The tablet guides on the upper floor were very helpful...hoping our museums at home adapt to this method soon. Pretty walking trails outside, as well. Nice and affordable gift shop. More

Or at least that's what one of the staff told me when I remarked that I was disappointed that much of the museum was closed for construction work when we were there. Until the new space is built, the number of works they can show will be rather limited. More

Shockingly good museum. Free entry makes it hard to be critical. Combined with Williams College Museum you can't miss. I loved this place. The art is right up my alley. Really enjoyed having an iPad (gratis and available in gallery C) to learn about the works). Don't miss the clearance books table in the store. I got some amazing books... More

This is a beautiful small museum that is undergoing substantial expansion. It is set on a lush landscape in a classic Berkshire town. It is a friendly place - the reception is welcoming, the cafe staff is personable (the food is good), the guards are helpful and approachable. There is a wonderful and breathtaking art collection - the masters are... More

My husband and I visited The Clark on a recent getaway weekend in Lenox, MA. This is a little gem of a museum tucked away in a quiet corner of Massachusetts. They are currently undergoing construction for an expansion, but don't let that deter you. The collection is small, but quite incredible. They have works from Botticelli, Ghirlandaio, Quentin Massys,... More

In waiting for the new wing to open, the Clark has a smaller exhibition, with the highlights. The temporary exhibit Clark|Remix let you use your phone, or tablet to explore the art even more in a very easy way. Compliments! More

With particularly strong collections in the popular American and European 19th-20th century areas, The Clark exhibits works of many well-known artists. Definitely worth the trip! More

When my daughter was 8 years old, she told me that Leonardo, Raphael, and Michaelangelo were "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!" The next day I dragged her to Williamstown, Massachusettes. There were so many wonderful paintings, including several by one of my favorite artists, Renoir. The museum is definitely "user-friendly," with sufficient lighting and cleanliness. The staff is knowledgeable and nice,... More
