Clear, warm and usually clam water in the summer make this a good long distance swimming beach. Convenient parking right next to beach. Great sunsets.

Parking is steps from the water. The beach is rocky and hard on the feet. Get there early or all hte parking spots will be gone. Never crowded!
Located on national seashore at end of Rt 6. No charge if over 65. Has a changing room with showers & snack bar. nice beach but cool water. Winter time finds locals parked to watch sunset
It is such a huge swath of beach. Why do the Rangers have to give tickets to people who are nude sunbathing when they have walked miles to be away from the section with the familes and kids etc?
