brought our kids here to burn some energy and they loved it! pretty cool trails to explore and rocks to climb. the one drawback was lack of restroom facilities. the closest one we found was a porta-potty by the main road. More

A pretty, sandy beach; a rocky, beachcombers' beach; a fantastic playground; bathrooms & showers; grills & picnic tables; a sandwich/seafood shop & vast fields for games -- Stage Fort is a really wonderful park. Come for the Independence Day fireworks over Gloucester Harbor, usually on July 3. More

A beautiful seaside part with beaches, bathrooms and ice cream! Glorious part alongside Cressy and Half Moon beaches with views out to Eastern Point and the breakwater and beyond. Tiny coves, massive rocks to climb and walking proximity to town make this a picnic lovers park! Back int he day, this was where the locals gathered every Memorial Day and... More

The park is well done and a good spot to visit in the summer for a picnic. The cycle cross race that happens each fall is really fun to watch. More

We spent an afternoon here with our children. We climbed the rocks, snorkled and had a pcinic on the beach. It was wonderful for the children to be free to explore but always with a watchful eye. A highly memorable place to visit. More

We traveled to Gloucester with our two young children (two years and 9 weeks). We were really desperate for a playground so packed up our kids to go visit here one morning. You do have to pay to park but the park itself is free. The playground seems fairly rundown. Some parts of some of the play structures have exposed... More
