Walk thru the old seacamp in the dusk and return to your car under starry skies. Carefully picked shows--new and old with superb actors, lighting, direction and management in a reconditioned building. The reconstruction has the same eye for perfection as the productions. Summer shows for children, outreach in the community. A real CapeCod gem.

So the arrival is a little sketchy but once you get over that hurdle you will enjoy yourself. There was an open air ampitheater for the little ones and serious shows for the adults.

My husband and I have seen Avenue Q and Monty Python's SPAMALOT at The Cape Rep Theater on the Main Stage. Saw Spamalot during a Thanksgiving holiday visit to Brewster. Hilarious. Have seen several shows at Cape Rep over the past several years. Am never disappointed.

We are surprised by what we learn from going to Cape Rep -- the diversity of shows is wonderful. We especially enjoyed the show about the first European settlers in Australia.
