We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to the Beverly location. Gorgeous marina with multiple public beaches where you can pull your boat over and swim, relax, etc. Incredibly friendly staff who gave us an overview of the landscape and an excellent tutorial on how to use our paddle boards and anchors.Staff seemed to genuinely love their job and the marina, and seemed sincere in wanting us to have a wonderful time and get the most out of our day on the water. We will definitely be back, and wil visit their Salem and Woburn locations as well!

We had an awesome time taking the beginner's paddle board course with Aaron! He was patient and thorough with his instruction. Bonus, he made us laugh!! I highly recommend this class and Aaron. It was great to try something new in our backyard!

I have done several off season guided paddles with Coast to Coast and every one of them has been excellent! The Misery Island paddle and hike was one of my favorites yet! I’m from the North Shore and paddle on my own frequently. I started doing off seasons paddles to keep up my favorite hobby year round and I’m never disappointed! I’ve experienced many new places and some I have visited before, but through a new lens. Aaron and Ashley are friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and low-key. They keep the group together while accommodating paddlers of all abilities.
Coast to Coast has become an essential part of my off-season routine; helping me through the long New England Winter!

Great kayak/SUP experience. Very easy to book, staff friendly and knowledgeable. They welcome all experience levels. And what a unique and beautiful way to experience the North Shore.

My son and I took a one-hour, private SUP lesson with Aaron. He quickly sized up our skills and tailored the lesson in ways that had me feeling far more confident on my board by the time it was over. (More able to move around on my board comfortably, and improve the power of my stroke.) He's able to get across body position and muscle use in ways that make sense. What fun! Highly recommend!

We had a really nice time kayaking with Aaron. He is kind and knowledgeable. Aaron listened to questions from our kids and was able to engage them in the trip. We all enjoyed the beautiful surroundings as well. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely terrible! 4 of us rented paddleboards. The girl knew that 2 of us had never done this before but she said she would be giving us a demonstration. That never happened. When we got into the water, she told us there would be a little seaweed. Not only was there a lot of seaweed but there was floating sewerage and a dead fish once we got off the beach. DISGUSTING, FILTHY, GROSS!!!! We learned later that the beach had been closed due to bacteria yet nothing was said to us before paying. We all couldn't wait to get home to a hot shower! $20/hour was a rip off!

Hi Walter! My name is Aaron, one of the owners. We're so sorry to hear that you did not have a positive paddling experience with us. We aim to give each customer the best possible experience, which includes a paddle demonstration to ensure everyone feels comfortable once they get on the water. I'm disappointed to hear that we fell short of that goal, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. Neither our Beverly nor Salem Kiosks have been closed due to water quality issues, though if they were we certainly would not be sending people out. However, we do hope that all of our customers have a great experience. It sounds like your experience fell short of that, and we'd love the opportunity to provide you with a better one. We'd love to chat with you further about your experience; please feel free to call us at 978-969-0151 or email me personally, aaron@coasttocoastpaddle.com.

Five of us had a lesson with Aaron, he's a skillful and patient instructor. We learned some new SUP skills and rescue techniques in a relatively short period of time, it was great!

My husband and I spent the morning kayaking along the Beverly Harbor. The 2 person kayak was easy to paddle, the rudder sure helped. We are beginners but felt very comfortable with the process. The owners/operators were friendly, knowledgeable and got us out on the water with ease. A great way to see the shoreline. $50 for 2 hours and the kayak, paddles and life vests were in top condition.
