The Pocomoke is one of the deepest rivers in the world based on length and width. Great camping. Near the beaches on Oceanside and Bayside

My family of 4 just had a wonderful camping trip at Pocomoke River State Park. We DID go in March when the tent-site camping loop was empty, so yes, it was very quiet. We thought the bath house was nice in comparison to other state-park facilities. The shower wasn't inviting but it wasn't repulsive, and the water was warm. Our...

Beautiful, Clean, Friendly Staff, lots of bike trails. Would rate it a 5 star campground and we camp a lot, this is now one of our favorites now. Sites are wooded, not over crowded, large and level. Bathrooms are clean. We would definately recommend and will be back.

This was my first time camping in a Maryland state park, and if it's a sign of the system state wide, then I'd be proud to call myself a Marylander. We stayed for two days last weekend at Milburn Landing in one of the mini cabins, taking a canoe with us. The place is nice and quiet this time of...

The ranger office wasn't manned for the two days / one night we were there. We left...

We stayed at the Milburn Landing campsite for 2 days of "car camping" with a tent in mid-May. The campsite was beautiful - several well-maintained camp locations, with a clean bathroom / shower location. There is a space to hand-carry a kayak or canoe out to the Pocomoke, and a large "pier" area where you can sit and enjoy the...

We found the Shad's Landing area to be perfect for an overnight camp while traveling through the area. Granted, it was during the off-season with fewer visitors, but it was quiet and well maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. I was even able to check in to work with the free wi-fi near the camp store (password was...

We camped for the first time at this park with our 2 preschool age kids. At this age we don't need much entertainment and relatively brief travel time from home (DC) is key. We were able to use the online reservation system to choose a campsite that was close to the park entrance, close enough to the bath house (but...
