This is a slice of our country that you rarely find...the re-creation of an area that early. We thoroughly enjoyed it...should have allowed more time. Because it gets dark early after daylight saving time ends. Everyone was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.. Loved that you could get on the ship the "Dove", small and wonderful. The staff acts out their parts as 16th century residents very well. We especially liked the recreation of the church on the south end. Very eerie thinking about all the burials that were done there and forgotten. More
