Outstanding food and the VERY best service. Family owned and operated and the family are all worth knowing. Key Lime Pie? The best chocolate crusted pie I ever tasted. Very eclectic menu seafood, bbq, cookies, ICECREAM. Go meet the folks before they head back to Florida.

We happened upon the Quite Side Cafe & Ice Cream Shop one day while passing through, and are truly grateful we stopped. We spent two weeks in Maine, and most days, we made it a point to eat a meal here. Not only is the food fresh and tastes great, but the owners are lovely, kind and family- oriented. They... More

Was told it was a good place to eat and they were correct. Pie to die for.great crab and lobster rolls. Friendly owners who we enjoyed talking with. Small place but worth the wait.

On the recommendation of our B&B host, we went to the Quiet Side Cafe for a late-evening blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. The pie was amazing--homemade, well over an inch thick, packed with Maine wild-type (i.e., small and tasty) blueberries, and fine crust. Nice folks working at the cafe as well.

Stumbled upon this little cafe and were amazed by their wonderful ice cream. The staff were really nice too. Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to revisit.

The clam chowder was delicious and huge, but where was the clam? For desert a delicious key lime pie. Nice staff and nice place to take a lunch.

To charge $13 for a sandwich, you better bring something unique to the plate, and the Quietside cafe does that. The most common lobster roll has mayo and lobster....and if that is what you prefer you can get that.... But if you want to taste fresh Maine lobster without all the work of cracking and attacking, then try one of... More
