The statue is in Rockport Harbor which is one of the prettiest little harbors in Maine. It is a very relaxing place to go. Even though repaired from a previous attack, the statue is still very cute and reminds one of the story of Andre the seal. More

Andre's statue is a great spot to visit with young kids. They will love petting the granite seal and hearing the story about how Andre lived in Rockport Harbor and performed tricks. I would recommend reading the Andre the Seal book before visiting Rockport and the statue since that will make it even more special. More
