I went with my brother and his family (two kids ages 9 and 11) - we each had different sites, a little ways away from each other but easy walking distance. Hermit Island is an incredible family vacation! Keep in mind that you actually have to interact with your family, there are no planned events for the kids, no social activities, no swimming pool, no childcare services!
