These cruises don't run until the end of June. Unless you hire a guide or take a float plane trip, there is no alternative to having your own boat in Greenvile if you want to actually see the lake. We wanted to go on a cruise of Moosehead Lake and decided taking the tour on the old logging ship Katahdin fit the bill. We went to the harbor well ahead of departure in order to visit the museum. This turned out to be a good choice, we secured convienient parking in their free parking lot and learned alot about...
