Lily Bay has a nice beach, adjacent to a grass picnic area with a playground and restrooms. If you are staying at a motel in Greenville, this is the best way to get close to the lake. Went with my husband camping for 5 days at the park. The place is rustic. Outhouses around but a regular bathroom at the site with showers. I have stayed at Lily Bay State Park multiple times in the past 6.5 years. I have only had one less than stellar experience which had nothing to do with the campground itself. Our first camping experience at Lily Bay was absolutely wonderful! We had a lakeside tent site that was easy to access, spacious enough for our large tent, a large screen room, and chairs around the campfire. The best part was the waterfront accessibility and the beautiful sunset across the lake. More
