But you have to look out for the Green-head, biting flies in early July. Painful. If they are not there the place is idyllic, snack bar is well stocked with beachy food, food showers and changing areas. More

We went for a leisurely stroll in the off season. The views are beautiful and i would definitely reccommend a visit. There's a variety of walking areas, including an ocean front beach. Shaded picnic tables are also available. The bathrooms were closed for the season, but winter facilities were available. More

While Maine has a convoluted and rocky coastline, Reid State Park and its lovely beaches will be just what you'd hoped for!  Facilities are immaculate and, at low tide, you can walk out to islands created just for you!  Get back before the tide comes in, though! More
