Nice park. Rarely crowded. The bathroom/shower facilities improved last year. More

Breathtaking, spectacular, picture perfect, inviting, the ocean, the sands, the beach, the view... The trio down was amazing and upon reaching the park we were blown away. Unfortunately for though, we went at the begining of winter (breazy, somewhat cold) but uncrowded and WOW! Because we work all-week during the season we rarely have time to go and visit during... Reid State Park is a must-see for anyone coming to Maine. It has everything you could want in a beach; from the waves crashing up the sandy shoreline...to the rocky ledges made for climbing. There are also plenty of places to picnic and tidal pools to see the sea life. And if that wasn't enough, there is a lagoon where... More

Just incredible views and spectacular beach area. Lots of picnic tables with little grills next to each. We were there at high tide and lots of wind. In March. In reading other reviews the whole fly issue was not an issue for us - but again - it was March. The scenery is incredible. We like Cape Henlopen in Lewes,... More

But you have to look out for the Green-head, biting flies in early July. Painful. If they are not there the place is idyllic, snack bar is well stocked with beachy food, food showers and changing areas. More

We went for a leisurely stroll in the off season. The views are beautiful and i would definitely reccommend a visit. There's a variety of walking areas, including an ocean front beach. Shaded picnic tables are also available. The bathrooms were closed for the season, but winter facilities were available. More

While Maine has a convoluted and rocky coastline, Reid State Park and its lovely beaches will be just what you'd hoped for!  Facilities are immaculate and, at low tide, you can walk out to islands created just for you!  Get back before the tide comes in, though! More

Visited this park in January and I must say it really is beautiful. Great views, great place for a long walk, and I would imagine very pretty in the fall. I have read the reviews about the bugs in the summer and that would bother me as well. I also think that spring, fall, and winter are also very nice... More
