Could have dog off leash at least early in the day. Not a lot of people. BEAUTIFUL beach. Lovely sand.

What a beautiful beach! It was a little cool on the day I went, and the beach had a few visitors and dogs.....fabulous for a walk and searching for sea glass! Easy access, and this beach has a ramp for wheelchair access, which is something I haven't really seen.....

If you can time your visit close to low tide, chances are that you may come across some sand dollars on the beach. Also, if you look carefully, harbor seals can be seen sunning themselves on the rocks offshore and bobbing in the water. Our visits have been in the spring and fall only - don't know what it's like... More

Great beach, clean and beautiful. Kids enjoyed swimming. Parking a bit of a hassle though-had to get a permit from the shop.

Long lovely beach...Have only been here in the fall so not sure how crowded it can get in high season but October is a great time to walk the beach.

I like this beach because seating is provided, plus at low tide you are able to walk pretty far out toward the ocean. I usually stop here mid September, so the main drawback is that there a very few stores/cafes nearby and most of them close after Labor day. It's a nice beach to visit.

Beautiful beach! It was raining, but walked the beach with umbrellas! Since if was late September, we were allowed to walk our dog who had fun taking a dip in the ocean!

The Beach is beautiful but I was shocked at the amount of seaweed on the beach and in the water. Too bad the GRBA does not clean up the seaweed and make the bathing experience more enjoyable.

Long beautiful beach. They allow dogs after 5 pm in the summer or before 9 am. Great views of Kennebunk and Colony Hotel. The beach's size gets considerably smaller when the tide is in. Can get very crowded during summer.
