ıt is a very nice place and scenic view of the harbor. ıt was a very peaceful place. I imagine it would be much livelier during the summer days but still it was very nice. The atmosphere of the park was very calm and pleasant. The view of the harbor was very nice.
We walked down to the Harbor Park every day and enjoyed the various "goings" on each time.....craft show, library book sale, and music of some sort most every evening. One evening there was a concert in the Amphitheatre that was thoroughly enjoyable.
Camden Harbor park overlooks the beautiful harbor of Camden and across the street is the victorian amphitheatre where Camden residents listened to concerts (as we have) over 100 years ago. It is all within walking distance of shops, day cruises, and most B & B's, not to mention several great restaurants.
We have visited Camden ,Me & Camden Harbor 3 straight yrs in the fall ......and have
graduated fr curious travelers staying @ a B / B to committed " Mainers" renting a townhome
for as long as the vacation money lasts! That should bespeak our true love for Camden Harbor
& the courteous valid Mainers that live and work here....

Gorgeous active harbor with wildlife in the active harbor of mostly pleasure boats The amphitheater overlooks the park and harbor just a lovely place

My husband and I were in Camden for not even a full day, so we went to French and Brawn Market and picked up some cheese and french bread and took a picnic to a bench overlooking the harbor. It was perfect! While we were enjoying the peaceful view, we heard music coming from the amphitheater across the street, so...

Beautiful area, with shade, but vendors were setting up tents for a fair the next day that interfered with out painting sites.
Wonderful setting for sitting and watching the sailboats and activities.
