We got stuck downtown in between lunch and dinner so decided to give it a look. Its only $5. This place combined with the Acadian Cultural Center should give you a pretty good feel for the Cajun Culture. 1 to 1.5 hours and you have seen it all. We liked the Cajun timeline exhibit. Nice small gun exhibit if you... More

Kids enjoyed their time at the LSM. We had went for the dinosaur attraction. It was informative and well displayed. Would go again. Price was reasonable.

The LSM is an okay museum. It's clean & the workers are pleasant. There just isn't enough in it. It's content is small for such a large building & it doesn't take long to go through it. It would be nice if it had more exhibits or science experiments, or just more of anything, in my opinion.

The display museum was great, but the IMAX (dome screeen) astronomy presesntation was very informative and interesting. The presentation was given with much enthusiasm and detailed knowledge. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed it very much but it was so small....and science just needs so much more ...SPACE. :) In all honesty, this place should get more funding, it has such a great staff and so many attractions, but in such a limited amount of space.

They only have a handful of things open, dinos and rocks that's it!!!! The planetrarium is closed, and that is about half of the museum, the other quarter is used as storage for there crates, half a hour and we where done.

The Lafayette Science Museum is great fo the family, a couple or school group. We Saw the Star Wars exibit. It was so cool stayed 5 hours. The CSI Lab upstairs and robot items were great. The staff was very helpful. The parking garage is only about 1/2 block down. We can't wait until Oct. 2011 when the Dinasour exibit... More
