If you like boat rides, the marinas or the pier in Paraty is the place to go. If you just want to enjoy the beach, try Trindade - beautiful beach, friendly villagers and good vibes.

This beach is lovely because of the walks around it, walk from one beach to the next all beautiful and at the end a natural pool to swim in. All very beautiful.

Trinidadian is made up of 5 different beaches, I'm sure each of which is beautifully set. Spent an afternoon in the middle one, plenty to keep amused from surfy sea to white sand, and the rainforest falling down to the ocean. Sure there are more secluded places to reach by boat, but this still is a quite special place.

We were there early April, so not too crowded at all. Bus from Paraty (every hour), and little stroll to the beaches. The current is strong, though it is still great if you want to play in the big waves. There are a couple of restaurants, both on the beach and in town. The ones in town are better value... More

There are some nice beaches here but it's crowded and the town is very touristy and a bit dirty. Walk to the farthest beach. It's the least crowded.

The beaches itself were crowded, but it was still peaceful and enjoyable. The restaurants were decent with a good choice of food (especially the fish dishes), and live entertaining music. There were also some cool shops selling souvenirs (jewellery, ornaments etc) at reasonable prices. The beaches are a 1h bus ride from paraty, be warned there are long queues for... More

Our mate in Ilha do Mel told us to visit here. Its about 45mins on the local bus from Paraty. There are a few beaches in Trindade but this is the nicest. On our first visit it was perfect but a local told us to be careful - we couldn't figure out why (we are used to surf beaches) but... More
