this was a great expereience for the family,we loved the planetarium soooo fun.We also enjoyed kids science room and the lady who worked in there was so friendly and helpful.we had the hardest time parking and had to end up paying to park in a garage a pretty good ways away.Would make sense for a facility this nice to have... The bet part of the museum is it's location right on the Mississippi. The art exhibits change frequently and are always interesting. If you like art, the $7 fee is not bothersome. More

The building is a converted train station, which makes it intrinsically interesting. The permanent exhibit is worth a visit, but we haven't been back. The special exhibits are overpriced for what they are. So many of the activities in the children's museum are broken or missing parts that it no longer serves its purpose. More

Me and my daughter stopped in here one day as we were exploring downtown Baton Rouge, they have a wonderful array of art, a real mummy and the iMAX theatre which we watched a film in. It was interesting and informative, with interactive displays for the universe & its planets. More
