The staff at the welcome desk was incredibly friendly. The display on the second floor showing all the governors of Louisiana was great. The exhibit on currency was fascinating. Overall a great way to spend an hour or two. Would definitely visit again.

The old state capital is located in a nice area with many things to do near it. From the front it looks like a castle. The architecture is just beautiful. Across the street is the USS Kidd battleship.
