Easy to get to and it's free. A must spot when visiting the Cape May area any time of year. During the day also a good spot for a swim and sunbathing

In the winter, the wind off the ocean is brisk and other than the ship wreck (which is disappearing) there is not much to do (during the day). They say it is very nice at sunset.

The beach is famous for Cape May diamonds which you can find. The concrete ship has an interesting histiory but won't last much longer. The gift shop has some inique items. Open year round. In season flag lowering ceremony is a real tribute to our country.
