If you're only planning on taking one trip the the reef this is definitely on to consider. The water is incredibly clear and the fish and turtles were in abundance. I only went to Lady Musgrave and Whitehaven beach. Although the beach was a great experience, Lady Musgrave is the better choice for snorkelling.

We went out to Lady Musgrave Island with Lady Musgrave Cruises for a day whilst staying at Agnes Water. It was a fantastic day, with the snorkelling being the highlight of the trip.
