Found the Oz Museum by accident and what a wonderful accident it was. The people who run it are very friendly and helpful. The items inside are well worth the price of admission. More

We were on our way to visit the Eisenhower Museum/Library in Abilene, Ks and saw the exit for the Oz Museum. On our way home we decided to stop and see what it was all about. Best part of our trip. Museum- we'd like to know, how did they get all these amazing artifacts?? The Flying Monkeys -unbelievable. Thought these... More

Small museum that contains artifacts from the original movie props and other of the movie's memorabilia. Wasn't crowded, takes about an hour to really read and see all. Nice gift shop after the self walk tour. Small "Flyover" town in Kansas. Nice OZ winery next door for the adults. This was our second visit to this town. More

It was a nicely laid out museum with amazing souvenirs and history of the movie and characters. We purchased a collectors Life game of Wizard of Oz. It has an indoor movie theater also. The price was very reasonable as well. It had a lot of nice shops available for food and drink nearby and no trouble parking. More

This museum has tons of relics packed into a tiny space. There is so much to see and do it takes a lot longer than you would guess upon enterance. This is a must for those who love the movie and even those who only kinda like the movie. More

It was a neat place to explore... the museum is full of everything Oz. Very interesting even if you are not a die hard Oz fan. Worth checking out. THEN, go to the Oz Wine Shop further up the street after your tour. More

There are actually two Wizard of Oz museums in Kansas, but this one is by far the best. You walk into the store front to see "Dorothy's House". You walk through the front porch door and you find yourself transported into the movie. There are several life-size scenes from the movie as you walk around the museum, but there are... More
