The tour is very good when you have a guide who is 'engaged' in the information. If you are nearby, you'd want to see it for sure. Once was enough for me, but very glad I did.

The Garden of Eden and the entire town of Lucas is a creative wonderland. The town is currently completing Bowl Plaza, a community mosaic project that doubles as a public bathroom facility. Outrageous, quirky and stunningly beautiful.

This house and the grounds are just not to be believed. It's a museum, an attraction, an art exhibit, a statement, a monument etc. Words can not describe the quirkiness of this place. If you within an hour or so of Lucas, make this part of your plans.

This attraction has an interesting story. It's amazing what someone can do when they have a lot of time on their hands. Lucas has become the grassroots art center of Kansas. There's lots of interesting artwork in the area.

While the Mrs. and I like wierd and unusual more than most, this place was a little over the top. Overall, it's not too bad - the concrete house and statues are each very good works. The furniture is also nice.
But you may want to skip the mausoleum where you can view the home owner's long dead and decaying...
